Bernard graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 2010. He was an editor on the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. He has an undergraduate degree in bioengineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
